Papillon Group was founded in 2016 by its Chief Executive Officer Dominique Moore. While attending college and working as a general studies tutor, she was introduced to many students needing help and guidance in overcoming the overwhelming challenges of being a full-time parent/caregiver and reaching goals through a college degree. Witnessing these struggles firsthand, Dominique started Women of Worth (WOW), a campus organization that encouraged, self-development, personal growth, and achievement. It wasn’t just education that she noticed a major issue. Another major part in success that was missing among the mothers and caregivers, was quality housing and homeownership.

Because of this awareness and sensitivity to those issues, Dominique’s trajectory to becoming a structural engineer changed to finishing her degree in Urban Planning with the sole intention to help lessen the overwhelming housing issue. In January of 2016 she started Papillon Group. It would create a means by which the unsuspecting could obtain those which others subscribe to as a measure of success, education and homeownership and the avenue for others to travel and soar to new heights. She aspired to become a positive influence and inspiration to others. Her own inspirations: her grandmother Eunice, the wife of Boaz, Ruth, architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and fashion designer Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel; those that set the example of love, kindness, selflessness, and barrier breaking.
